"Love is stupid." I mumbled, shoulders hunched as I played with the key in my hands.
"You look down T." Dakota noticed, stopping short before leaning her elbow on the bar.
"I'm feeling down." I said with a heavy sign before looking up from the key in my hand.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Dakota asked, sending a small smile my way.
"I guess I should." I shrugged, sitting up and dropping the key on the counter. "But aren't you working?"
"Taylor, look around." Dakota laughed, motioning to the empty bar.
"That's right its Monday." I nodded, a small blush forming on my cheeks.
"I'll get us some shots." Dakota smirked before walking away to get us some drinks.
"I'm gonna need them." I muttered, sitting up straight when Dakota came back with two shots of vodka.
"So why aren't you moping around with Zac or Josh?" Dakorta asked, a small laugh in her voice when Taylor finished his shot.
"Zac is working at the record shop and Josh is having sex." I shrugged, wincing at the burn on the alcohol on my throat.
"And how do you know Josh is having sex?" Dakota laughed.
"I called him and he was having sex when he was talking to me." I said, trying to keep a straight face but after a few seconds of trying a loud laugh erupted from my chest.
"Oh my god, that's fantastic." Dakota smiled, taking her phone out and composing a text message. "I just have to tell Hayley."
"Josh is going to kill me." I sang before reaching over and finishing Dakota's shot.
"And it looks like we need more vodka." Dakota mumbled.
"I can't believe you answered your phone." I panted, turning my head to face Josh.
"What was I susposed to do?" Josh gasped, trying to regain his breath. "Let it go to voicemail?"
"That would be the smart thing to do." I whispered, my chest moving up and down with every breath I took.
"He needed my advice which is stupid because he should've called Jeremy, I mean him and Sarah actually lived together and I never lived with any of my girlfriends." Josh explained, rolling over so that he was laying on his side facing me.
"That is true." I nodded, pulling the sheets up so that it covered my bare chest.
"Besides you weren't making anything better." Josh smirked, raising his eyebrow at me before brushing a stray piece of hair off my cheek.
"Shut up." I mumbled, causing Josh to laugh and shake his head.
"You're phone is going off." Josh nodded as my phone vibrated on the endtable next to me.
"I'm going to answer this now, when we aren't having sex." I teased, watching Josh roll his eyes before reaching over and grabbing my phone before reading the text message.
"What's so funny?" Josh asked when I started laughing.
"Dakota just texted me to let me know that you answered the phone while having sex with a random girl." I laughed, putting my phone down before turning to face Josh.
"Well it wasn't a random girl." Josh winked, causing me to blush.
"No..." I gasped, sarcasism clear in my tone.
"Just remember that you texted me first darling." Josh said, his southern accent coming out.
"I'm never going to live this down." I mumbled, placing my hands over my face in attempt to hide my blush.
"So I went to Millie's to ask her to move in." I started, stuttering over a few words as the vodka began to set in. "She then opened the door in nothing but a robe."
"She didn't." Dakota gasped, finishing of her own shot.
"And when she just finished explaining how she was just about to take a bath, a guy emerges from her room in his boxers asking her to come back to bed." I finished with a drunken laugh.
"That sucks." Dakota frowned, running her finger around the rim of her glass.
"I know." I hicupped. "I loved her."
"I know you did T." Dakota sang, coming out from behind the bar to sit down next to me.
"What do I do D?" I whispered.
"You move on and show Millie what she's missing out on." Dakota smiled confidently.
"I don't t-think I can do that." I slured.
"Sure you can." Dakota said slowly, making sure she formed each word correctly.
"And how do I do that?" I asked, turning my head to look at Dakota.
"Like this." Dakota whispered before leaning over and kissing my softly on the lips.
"Okay." I mumbled, pulling back to see Dakota's smirk.
"You're place or mine?"
